Zana Roofers answers roofing calls around the clock for Milton and the Santa Rosa County communities a roofer can reach in roughly 35 minutes. Everything on this list sits inside the county: the river towns next door, the subdivisions spreading west toward Pace, and the coastal communities on Santa Rosa Sound and Pensacola Bay. Pensacola and the rest of Escambia County are not part of the area.
Each area page below covers the roofs and weather that are specific to that place, from the historic frame houses in Bagdad to the wind and salt exposure along the Sound in Navarre. If your town is not listed but you are close to one that is, call (773) 207-0769 and ask. Smaller places such as Pea Ridge, Floridatown, Point Baker, Wallace, Avalon, Garcon Point, Holley, Tiger Point and Midway are covered through the nearest area below.

Roof permits: City of Milton or Santa Rosa County?
A full reroof needs a building permit everywhere on this list, and so does most repair work beyond a minor fix. Who issues it depends on where the house sits. The City of Milton does not run its own building department: projects inside city limits start with City of Milton Planning, and Santa Rosa County issues the permit. Pace, East Milton, Bagdad, Navarre, Tiger Point and Midway are unincorporated, so those permits go straight through the county's Development Services office. Inside Gulf Breeze city limits, check with the City of Gulf Breeze.
In practice the roofer pulls the permit, schedules the inspections and closes it out, and the permit record later helps prove your roof's age to an insurer. Ask to see the permit before the tear-off starts. More on what a reroof involves is on the roof replacement page.
How far out do roofers go?
The drive times on this page are estimates from central Milton, and traffic on US 90, US 98 and the bridges changes them. The phone is answered 24/7 everywhere in the area, but nobody can promise an arrival time during a storm, when every roofer in the county is busy and work at night or in high wind is limited to tarping. Close-in calls in East Milton, Bagdad and Pace are usually reached first; Navarre and Gulf Breeze take longer.
